Research Associate – University of Bristol

I am a cybersecurity researcher and my research focuses on enhancing Security Operations Centre (SOC) capabilities through a human centric and technology driven approach. My research aim is to make SOCs more efficient, adaptive, and resilient by integrating people, processes, and technology, ensuring that security teams are equipped with the right tools, skills, and strategies to stay ahead of evolving cyber threats.

Before moving into research, I worked as an incident responder, where I have witnessed the challenges SOC teams face in detecting, analysing, and mitigating threats. This experience has driven my research into improving SOC operations, particularly in areas such as threat hunting, cyber defense controls, and incident response strategies. As cyber threats grow more sophisticated, my goal is to contribute to the resilience and capabilities of SOCs by developing sustainable, scalable, and robust security operations practices and frameworks. Through my research, I aim to bridge the gap between human expertise and technological advancements, helping organisations build SOCs that can withstand the challenges of advancing cyber threats.
