Research Associate – University of Oxford
Dr Vadim Safronov is a Research Associate in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Oxford. His research focuses on enhancing the security, safety, and efficiency of next-generation smart infrastructures. Vadim completed his PhD at the University of Cambridge, where he worked on decentralised, low-power IoT communication architectures, contributing to the efficient and resilient operation of smart buildings. His work also extends to broader cybersecurity-related projects, applying AI/ML-based methods to enhance the security and privacy of IoT networks and their users in smart environments. Vadim’s research has been published in reputable venues such as ACM HotNets, PAM, ACM SIGSPATIAL, and IEEE/IFIP TMA.
